Weekly Questions: 1 Corinthians 15:58

Preparation for Sunday Worship:
  • Pray for God to illuminate the truth of His word and apply it to your own heart.
  • Read 1 Corinthians 15 from start to finish in one sitting
  • Read 1 Corinthians 15:58 five additional times

  1. Identify at least three key words in this passage? Why are these words important to the meaning of the text?
  2. Identify the verbs and find their tense (past, present, etc..) and voice (active / passive / middle)?
  3. What conclusions can you draw from the verb tense and voice?
  4. Summarize this passage, in your own words, into one sentence.

  2. How does Christ’s resurrection guarantee our future resurrection?
  3. Discuss the ways that Christ’s resurrection motivates our service of Him.
  4. How does Christ’s resurrection assure us that our service is not in vain?
  5. Are there any specific ways that you would like your group to hold you accountable to serve Christ more faithfully?

different/changing as a result?
• How have you seen God answering prayer? What are you praying for?
• How is god using you in the process of evangelism to draw people up Himself?
• What sins has God revealed to you so that you might repent of them? In light of
grace realities, what must that repentance look like?
