Leadership

Dusty Burris has served as the Pastor/Teacher of Northlake Bible Church since June of 2019. Prior to this, he served as Associate Pastor of Countryside Bible Church where he oversaw the college ministry and several other ministries of the church. Dusty graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2010. Prior to his time at Countryside, he served in various roles at other churches in the East Texas area. Besides teaching the Word of God, he also enjoys hunting, writing Christian music, and leading worship. He and his wife Rebecca have one daughter, Avery, and one son, Luke.

Drew was born in Enid, Oklahoma and raised between Grapevine, Texas, during school years and Medford, Oklahoma, on the farm during school breaks. Drew came to know the Lord at age 19 on his father's farm in Oklahoma. After completing his bachelor's degree in finance and economics at Texas Tech University, he began his career working in self-storage real estate for 2.5 years and then transitioned into Financial Services at Fidelity Investments.

Drew has been with Fidelity for 17 years and is currently a Regional Coaching Consultant. At Northlake Bible Church, Drew serves as the overseer of Small Groups and participates on the Finance and Building Committees. Outside of the life and ministry of NBC, Drew loves spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and playing games with their four children: Jonathan, Finnley, Lincoln, and Joel. He also enjoys snow skiing and the occasional game of Ultimate Frisbee.

Ben has served as an Elder of Northlake Bible Church since May 2024 and enjoys serving in the Equip Adult Sunday School and Small Group ministries. Ben has a passion for teaching and equipping the saints and for discipleship with men in the church. Ben has a background in software engineering and currently works as an engineering leader at Oracle Cloud. Ben enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing video, board, and card games.

He and his wife Angela have five kids: William, Kate, Molly, Oliver, and Henry.

Chris has grown up in ministry life and has served in lay and official roles since his twenties. He and his family moved from Northern California to Texas in 2016, and Chris worked as an interior car repair tech at The Master's Touch. His family eventually found Northlake Bible Church in 2019. He became an XL Ministries Intern the following year and has enjoyed teaching and serving NBC while being trained for ministry. He came on the pastoral staff full-time in 2021 and has now been able to devote his time to the building up of the body of Christ in various ministries, primarily teaching and counseling. He is also currently pursuing ACBC certification. Chris's favorite thing to do is spend time with his family, play the guitar or ukulele, and listen to some vintage DcTalk. He and his wife Angie have six children: Joy, Tobias, Noelle, Jackson, Gracie, and Haddon.

Alejandro was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He moved to Texas with his family in December 2018. Prior to coming on staff at Northlake Bible as a Pastoral Assistant, Alejandro was a public high school teacher for eleven years and a school administrator for three years. He currently leads the Youth student ministry and assists with other ministries in the church. Alejandro enjoys spending time with his wife Catherine and two children, Nicholas and Valeria, as well as eating out and exercising.

Angie is married to NBC's Pastoral Assistant, Chris. She is a homeschool mom and works on the financials and various administrative needs here at Northlake. If she's not working on the books for NBC, you'll find her playing games with the kids, beating Chris at old school Dr. Mario, or losing herself in a book. She and Chris have six children: Joy, Tobias, Noelle, Jackson, Gracie, and Haddon.

Northlake Bible's Executive Assistant, Vivian, has been married to her husband Jack for over twenty years. They have three grown daughters: Jael, Carli, and Lorilei. Vivian is also an avid reader, knitter, homemaker and wanna-be gardener.
