The women of Northlake Bible Church are devoted to Christ and the truth of Scripture. Our women’s ministry is designed to equip the women of NBC to better understand and apply God’s Word to their lives as they seek to grow in their likeness to Christ and the fulfillment of the roles God has given to them in the home, the church, and the world.
During the school year, we offer a monthly Bible study for women called Women of the Word. These groups meet in homes, and the ministry is designed to offer opportunities for ladies to fellowship and study God’s word together. Each year the study is designed around a different book or topic that is specifically geared towards equipping women.
One-on-one discipleship is available for both men and women through our Partners program. In addition to that, biblical counsel and accountability are available.
Women who desire to be equipped to teach God’s Word to other women or children may also attend our yearly teaching seminars. In these seminars, Pastor Dusty teaches the basic principles of how to study the Bible and prepare an expositional message. After completing the seminars, there are opportunities to register for a teaching practicum in which you can practice the things you have learned and teach an expository message with an evaluation by ladies on our women’s leadership team.
Finally, the women’s ministry provides special events throughout the year for the purpose of fellowship, prayer, and Bible study.
